Managing Director for ADS-click's US subsidiary in California

ADS-click is a major player in the search & contextual advertising market. The company was created in 2004 and now has a worldwide portfolio of clients with a presence on all continents (Europe, North America, Japan & Australia ). As a fast expanding company, ADS-click wants to reinforce its presence in the US by creating a subsidiary in San Francisco , CA .

The company has developed search and contextual match advertising technologies marketed in a private labelled mode. This unique approach enables ADS-click to position itself as a technological partner while its clients focus on the commercialization of the solution to their Advertisers and affiliate publishers. Major players in online advertising around the world already trust ADS-click's cutting edge technology. ADS-click is a Web 2.0 compliant technology. On top of CPC & CPM solutions, ADS-click will release a Pay per Call solution based on the Skype and GTalk technologies in the near future.

Responsibilities:

We are looking for an experienced Managing Director who will be responsible for all Operations, Finance, Accounting, Human Resources and Facilities activities, as well as business development for ADS-click's US subsidiary.

The successful candidate will have at least 5 years experience:

  • In business development, finance and operations management roles in small or emerging technology businesses;
  • Designing, implementing and operating business operations processes;
  • Handling all accounting functions including AP, AR, payroll, and reporting;
  • Managing vendor relationships;
  • Administering human resources processes including benefits administration, recruiting and hiring;
  • Negotiating and administering contracts;
  • Closing financing and corporate transactions;

Desired Qualifications:

  • At least 5 years management-level work experience in Internet or high tech business development
  • In-depth knowledge of consumer Internet properties; experience in online media areas is a strong plus
  • Demonstrated track record of sourcing and closing commercial deals in an aggressive time-frame
  • Excellent understanding of contractual language
  • Ability to manage and grow major account relationships
  • Sound business judgment and excellent negotiation skills
  • Ability to make quick decisions, act flexibly and think creatively
  • Superior interpersonal and communication skills, including presentations, phone and e-mail
  • Excellent analytical skills; must be able to think of complex deal structures with multiple variables
  • Passion for start-up, fast-changing, and dynamic industry environments
  • Entrepreneurial, high energy, and flexible - ability to multi-task, roll up sleeves, jump in, and meet aggressive deadlines under pressure with limited time and resources;
  • BS/BA required; MBA and/or JD strongly preferred
  • Good command of French would be an advantage

This position requires strong cross-functional knowledge and specific understanding of online-advertising, sales and business management disciplines.

In addition to this activity ADS-click is building its own Media activities to offer premium online advertising solutions for marketers and publishers.

Job Description :

The Business development Manager is responsible to recruit ADS-click's publisher network in various markets offering them a unique technology to "Drive their PPC earnings" To achieve his sales target the Business development Manager will prospect using all communication means as well as participating to international professional trade shows. The Business development Manager helps ADS-click clients by driving best practices for increasing revenue and improving operational efficiency through the use of ADS-click's technology. He/she is responsible for proactively managing all client relations by using knowledge of online advertising, marketing and publishing expertise. The success of the Business development Manager will be measured by the size of the network he will have built and the proactive approach he will bring to the management of the recruited publishers.

Primary Responsibilities Include:

  • Build and maintain a network of publisher.
  • Grow client revenues profitability
  • Travel 10% of the time
  • Form and maintain close working relationships with clients, influence their use of our products and services to ensure success and create publishable success stories
  • Alternate between a strategic, consultative approach to clients' businesses and the tactical, day-to-day management of client issues vital to successful and growing client relationships

Your profile
